So anyone listen to Metallica or Megadeth?

[SIZE="5"]If so, what's your favorite thing about them? You're favorite album? Mine's probably either DM, Re-Load, or St. Anger. But obviously I love the old albums too. I kinda think MOP's songs are kinda too long and boring. Ride the Lightning is just amazing. That one never gets old with the sound it has! But if anyone hasn't listened to Death Magnetic, try it! It's literally the best of everything. I think it's way heavier than all the other albums to be honest. And EVERY song is long and entertaining, solos are great too. And I love how theirs so much riffs in each song. Pretty epic album. What's your opinion on Metallica? Did you stop listening to them after Load/Re-Load Era? OR is someone gonna blame their somehow lost love of metallica because of the whole napster thing? Well... If you didn't know, theres a torrent that has 1200 concerts and is 2.87 MB. At least you have that lol. And please don't pick sides between Metallica and Megadeth.. I mean cmon lol they're both amazing. Dave Mustaine is the person I look up to. I'm gonna have to agree with Stoned the Metalica albums after the Black Album went down hill quite quickly and never seemed to recover. As for megadeath I like em but not enough to defend.

Sure not all of it was good, but Load and Reload are very good albums. Just not metal albums. Metallica does Hard Rock better then most famous Hard Rock band, i think they should have went with it, Death Magnetic has nothing on Megadeth's 13 in my opinion, it just cant compete. St. Anger was a pretty cool de-tuned guitar sound but the riffs were very Reloadish. Giving it a very strange sound that no one could really dig.

Hey come on give Robert some love, he is an awesome guy and bassist xD. Kirk is pretty humble but falling off his game quickly. James is really two faced, and Lars is just a total clown the majority of the time lol.

well when i 1st listened to metallica it was their " garage days " i think it was...then i got into their " ride the lightning " album, which i think was pretty badass, but after black, it went downhill sound wise for me
