I'm gonna have to agree with Stoned the Metalica albums after the Black Album went down hill quite quickly and never seemed to recover. As for megadeath I like em but not enough to defend.
Sure not all of it was good, but Load and Reload are very good albums. Just not metal albums. Metallica does Hard Rock better then most famous Hard Rock band, i think they should have went with it, Death Magnetic has nothing on Megadeth's 13 in my opinion, it just cant compete. St. Anger was a pretty cool de-tuned guitar sound but the riffs were very Reloadish. Giving it a very strange sound that no one could really dig.

well when i 1st listened to metallica it was their " garage days " i think it was...then i got into their " ride the lightning " album, which i think was pretty badass, but after black, it went downhill sound wise for me
life is chock full of shtako, so make sure you bring plenty of toilet paper
