    kill shot on arkfall bosses

    Hello everyone,

Just wondering how you know if you have landed the kill shot? The only reason im asking is because I have been trying that long I think im paranoid not got a tin foil hat yet lol.

Usualy I will get 5k at the end but now on two rare occasions I have got 10k there has been ammo and other pick ups where the bosses were and once it even came up powerkill does any of this mean I got a kill shot? Only it isnt showing on my pursuits, just looking for other peoples experiances I dont wana be the next pscho pete on my own island

The pursuit progress will flash the moment the exp goes up as well. You can always manually check it in pursuits but it is a pretty noticeable event. I had no delay in either of mine when I got them.

    Good Luck!!

Kill shots are hard to get. The xp at the end of the arkfall is to show you how much xp you gained because you helped take it down.

Now that being said there are two different methods of getting that kill shot.
Both methods require you to start shooting while there is just a sliver of health left on the boss.

Method one requires you to have a high damage slow firing weapon with massive crit. Namely a sniper rifle or wolfhound pistol. Start spamming shots with overdrive and hopefully you get the kill shot.

The other method to get the kill shot again is to have a high crit weapon but this time with allot of ammo or a weapon that fires extremely fast. These weapons typically are SAWs for the large amount of ammo or SMG's due too their quick fire rate. Using these types of weapons you just hold the trigger when the boss has very little health left and hope that you land that kill shot. The down side is you have to time it just right so your not caught in a Reload animation. If your reloading and the boss is still up well then you probably wont get that kill shot.

Personally i used the second method however there are some people who have used the first method to get the kill shot. It's all up to you which method you choose.

Feel free to get your tin foil hat out. I was shooting a progenator, and when it died, the "critical kill" popped out with the damage input. If you're shooting at anything else and get that message, it means that you killed it, with a critical hit. But I still don't have credit for a progenator kill.

just wait till everyone is asleep is one way. Me and my friends skipped 1 night to play after a busy week of work. At a point its just U in the server haha or this might help to. Destroy 1 little arkfall crystal. Get out of the big arkfall ring. And go back in when the rest is destroyed to. Go to the place of the arkfall boss and U should be alone. 1 vs 1. Enjoy.

    uh, wut?

So do you get bonus XP if you did not land the killshot? I've gotten bonus XP for the kill on the Progenitor before (not the scoreboard xp), but have apparently not gotten the kill shot.

its a trick I used when I needed the killshots. Used the fase trick at some other mmo games to. And yes I got 10.000 XP and a ring of scrip on the floor for making the killshot. I dunno if it changed, since I did the killshots in the first week.

Yeah, I've gotten the 10k xp a few times now on Progenitor but no pursuit update.
