kill shot on arkfall bosses

Yeah, I've gotten the 10k xp a few times now on Progenitor but no pursuit update.

I just did one with a second character to check. I used the fase trick ( still works ) and saw with overcharge. Got the killshot. Like it should. The goal should pop up on screen. XP stays the same, 10k XP with the scrip ring on the floor. Killshots is just dumb. Its just pure luck cause 50k + people are doing the same. U will get it faster when U are not focusing on to getting the killshot and just play.

So do you get bonus XP if you did not land the killshot? I've gotten bonus XP for the kill on the Progenitor before (not the scoreboard xp), but have apparently not gotten the kill shot.

Well that is an idea next time im off work im going to have a full night of arkfall hunting il pick a working day to maximise my chances lol thanks for tip il give it a go

easy way to get kill shot.
get grenade launcher, with 6 mag.
shoot all 6 and wait till its quart inch health. then det. worked for everyone i tell

I am ashamed of my self I tried the phase trick and when I arrived there were 14 other people so its probably a little secret amongst others lol but that dramatically increased my chances it looked liie the others were not really trying to get the kill so I took charge whacked over charge on and bang got the hellion kill shot just the progenator left now I have put the tin foil in the bin haha.

yeah U have that sometimes, a small group is already there when U go to the boss after doing the fase trick. Only had it once but the rest when I helped my friends out, we were by ourselves. Mano a mano, 1 vs 1 with the boss.

Tried again with the progenitor and it doesnt seem to work or im doing it wrong lol thanks for all the tips I have resorted to just sitting by scrapper arkfalls till tbe last repair run then trying my luck with everyone else

Even though it was stated in previous patch that pursuits are not tracking correctly and will be fixed some still don't track correctly. I have learned to get kill shots every time but still don't have progenitor core completed. I late to early morn so have all oportunity but no credit. It is this way with several pursuits. I am lvl 17 in cerberus but still haven't completed credit for getting it to lvl 5. just keep trying. Its like coop pursuits a while ago, credit was random. We'd do it in a group of 4 and only 2 would get credit upon completion. Just another in game issue left unfixed.

I got my kill while fighting the Ark Boss with only 10-15 people. Not sure if you ever play off peak hours, but if you can / do your chances will increase.

Someone mentioned using high powered weapons which is obvious too. I think I used a SAW w/ Over Drive.

Got my kill shot on a Hellion early on before I even knew that was a pursuit. The one for Progenitor took me forever. I tried overcharge plus the fastest RoF weapons I had with no luck. Decided to go back to the weapon I got the shot on Hellion with - VBI TACC assault rifle - and got it the first Scrapper arkfall I came to. Although, I think it had more to do with the fact that only 10-15 other players were there.

Well guys thanks for the posts and advice in the end it was just pure luck I went with the high dps route saw and over charge took my chance with all the rest and I just got luckysI have hung up my kill shot boots now I will go to arkfalls for keys weapons and xp but im going to be leaving the kill shot for someone else after this experiance I genuinelydont want to be taking someone else chance away.
