Whats with all the idiots ruining the Capture & Hold contract on purpose?

I won't say how as I don't want to feed the trolls with ideas, but the depths certain players are sinking to to ruin the game for others is flat out scumbag.

3 games in a row the contract has been blocked, on the second game players on both teams did it.

Put the car in the hole that you do the jump over and it wont respawn. if people are doing this its because they don't wont 10 people standing in the spawn and losing. This pursuit is a stupid idea IMO.

I suppose I'll state what some have said before

"they want to play it their way"

I do tend to agree with that except when it comes to it really affecting other players. I don't care if some want to boost, cheat, exploit, or poop on their own game but I do care when what they do impacts the games of others. It's why on the PC most devs don't get up in arms when people create mods for SP games or for SP content, but do so for MP in any way and unh unh unh.

I've played other games where most decent players would tend to come to some agreement to not use certain things in MP that could even knock others offline or cause horrible lag. I'm not saying that is likely to happen here or could even be suggested, but I do believe when players knowingly use something in an obviously unintended way in the game, or purposely attempt to keep others from finishing pursuits, missions, or contracts then that should be a bannable offense-one among many.

Too much common sense language here making my head spin :>

The sad truth is that this is entirely Trion's fault. At this point they can easily adjust this contract just as they could have removed Capture and Hold contracts for the first two months of the game. They simply choose to leave their bad decisions in the game; this is one of those bad decisions. I challenge anyone from Trion to complete this challenge in an hour; that seems like an entirely reasonable amount of time for completing a daily contract. Can't complete it? Perhaps it deserves to be removed or modified.

I didn't mean the pit, I was referring to something else, I'll just copy my post from another thread:

What about the scumbags who get into the drivers seat as soon as the match starts, drive behind the building in spawn and then just stay sitting there for the entire game?

They are effectively crippling the team as your down the cerebrus which is an effective assualt tool for point caps, then you have players spawning into turrets and spending the rest of the game arguing with the driver in team chat instead of playing.

And most frustrating of all, even though they contributed nothing to your team, the driver still gets the standard 9.5k xp & 2 keycodes when the game ends.

could be the people that got fired. they are so pissed they bought the game just to try to piss off players and make them quit.
