Are the Siege rewards score or rank-based?

I usually end up around 32-40K and rank anywhere on the top 5 on sieges, I always get a blue item and a purple shield.

I was going to create an uber class for mobs, but if the blue item/purple shield reward is the limit then i would rather just keep my loadout.

Also, is getting two purples or something better possible?

I did my first siege today in San Fran. I got there just before stage 4 and made it to 10. There were several green/blue drops during and got blue nades for a reward. One item for a reward is a bit of a let down, but it seems like having a high drop rate during is meant to give incentive for more players to participate. With more players you get higher stage progression which is obvious. I can't say anything as to the ranking part, but I am curious to know if the rewards are better at higher stages.

Sieges are both point based and stage based. The amount of points you score will determine the amount of experience you receive once complete. The stage will determine the rarity of the drop you receive as a reward. I heard someone said it is possible to receive a legendary as a drop as long as you score 14+ waves.

Yep, i believe they are both point and rank based. I wonder if the legendary rumour is true.

Has anyone here seen stage 13-14, highest i've ever seen is 11 or 12 i forgot which.

I have not. Highest for me has been 11

I think I hit Stage 11 or 12 at the Farm or China Town. I forget which. Really not a huge fan of the other two, but at least Diablo oil gives you miniguns, but Elite Monarchs that spawn there are TOTALLY not worth the fight. Give me hulkers any day of the week.

Not 100% sure on this, but I believe I was around 35k points and we finished around wave 10 at Diablo and I got 2 purples (one being a shield).

Highest iv got is level 13 but we didnt complete it in time. Others have so say got 2 15 & higher but not seen this myself.
