Let's be clear on this: regardless of OP's fault or not, it is bad design to even allow bits purchases outside of the cash shop. Period.

You should automatically pay in keycodes after you double-click/hit buy on the lockbox and that is that. If you want to buy lockboxes with bits, you have the option to do so via Defiance Store.

IMO bits purchases should ONLY be doable in the Definance Store because anyone buying lockboxes in game is 99.99% going to do that with keycodes.

It will also streamline the interface because then they don't have to display the currency selection screen.

I totally agree. I'll bet a lot of accidental bits purchases have been made at the lockbox vendor from having it this way.

Did the same thing last weekend. I agree it shouldn't be there and bit purchases should be through the store only, but if they have to keep it there, there should at least be a confirmation prompt that says "Are you sure you want to purchase this lockbox with Bits?" or something along those lines.

There shouldn't be a confirmation, it's written in plain English "buy with bits" or "buy with resources"... It's not like it's confusing. If they say, used pictures or sounds instead of words, then maybe.... But it's in a language we all know and understand. If someone isn't paying attention then that's on them, it's not the company's fault your all hopped up on Mountain Dew or whatever and got distracted. When I go grocery shopping, the cashier doesn't ask me after she scans every item if I'm sure I want to buy this or that, so why should Trion put in an extra step to ensure people aren't just flew blow ******ed... Sounds like this is nothing more than just buyers remorse

At the grocery store they don't tell you the price (confirmation)? They don't ask you if that will be paid by cash, debit, or credit card? (confirmation again). You sir need to go to a different grocery store All vendors in a game or in real life should let you know the price of something at that point i have the option to be like "oh thats too much money please CANCEL these objects/items"
