Thanks myll eric. Glad to see a Dev read this. I have recieved my items just fine. However there has been times when I accidentally purchase lock boxes with bits. Yes it is my own fault for rushing. But could we please get a confirmation yes or no when dealing with bits.

I did this once when the list shuffled on me. I sent in a ticket and got my bits back, but I had to get the keycode for the box first before they refunded. they also said it was a one time courtesy and they wont always help and to be more careful.

I think there should be another message pop up before purchase, like when your about to sell a purple weapon, it asks you if you are sure. but if they did that people wont accidently spend real money

see people, this is what happens when you erode the moral fiber of america. you get people used to the idea of immunity of self-responsibility. the nanny-state is the epitome of this issue. as we become more and more of a nanny-state this will be more and more prevalent. plus mothers who honestly believe 100% their kid is perfect and cannot do anything wrong. it instills these values into adulthood.

you have someone screw up, and rather than admitting their mistake, find someone else to blame.

you made a mistake. admit it. take responsibility for your actions. stop expecting someone else to make up for your mistakes. you are an adult, stop relying on mommy to take care of it all for you.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the "moral fiber" of America. I never asked for a refund. I know I selected the wrong option, more than once. It doesn't excuse the poorly implemented system that needs to be fixed.

PS. I have 3 children, they are far from perfect and I'm the first to discipline them when they are **** heads. Your post of rambling had not one thought that could be considered rational. Don't pay attention to the trolls either. I'm with you a 100%. It's real easy to slip and poof that clan boost you were saving for the clan this weekend... gone...

Awesome, hopefully it gets done soon. And glad to see I'm not the only one who has done this a few times. And I'm sure I'll end up doing it again if it's not fixed soon. Like I said it's muscle memory to just hit up and A immediately.

Seriously? No one on this thread complained about that issue. The OP brought up a valid issue, why not address that? It's disrespectful to your customers to ignore them and try to change the subject. Obviously the reasoning behind the way the "Buy with Bits" option functions paints Trion and its motives in a bad light. It's a transparent money grab. So it makes sense that you would not want to address the issue openly. But it's just rude to dismiss your customers' concerns and change the subject.

I'm with the OP. Out of several hundred boxes purchased, I have purchased three with bits by mistake. Simple slip of the finger when doing something repititious. I wrote to the live chat and complained. They apologized and said this would be patched.

This is why I agree with the OP too, and this is why I see it being so likely to happen is that people buy tons of boxes with keys every day, and it just takes one quick misclick.

Also, I could be wrong, but isn't it inconsistent with other cash shop items? If you buy a dunie from a vendor that is also available in the cash shop, it doesn't give you the option to buy it with resources or bits does it? If it doesn't give that option, then the inconsistency kind of sets people up for failure too, because they aren't used to to cash shop money being integrated into in-game vendor options.

its not an issue about buying items with bits the issue is there is no confirmation to buy a lock box from the world lock box as such if someone gets a lag spike and accidently clicked "buy with bits" for a Tier 1-4 lockbox it instantly goes in your inventory even if the purchase was not intentional.

I for one did not think i had bits left however had a lag issue when trying to buy a lockbox from the world vendor with data keys. its frustrating cause even if you go to live support they will not refund you the bits even if you say remove the items i received.
