Those threads make assumptions based on human languages. Who said they are human words.
By wiki you must mean wikia in which case you are correct. However the Defiance Wiki in my sig is trustworthy and not run by thieves and idiots who have no idea what they are doing, which wikia users are.
Hey guys, I was a linguist for the US Army and I study etymologies as a hobby now. I am completely fluent in 2 languages and have studied 3 more. My personal observation and opinion (and I could be waaaaaaaayyyyyyy off) is very similar to what everyone else has come up with.

Yelanda Nanggo as something that could be an insult, but turning it on yourself to give the reverse meaning. Like saying you are a BAMF (bad-@$$ Mother......). Just stand in front of your mirror and say it in your best Samuel L Jackson voice and see how it makes you feel
