...So everyone has seen the commercial where a 2013 Dodge car (Challenger/Charger) ends up still running around some decades later ?

I find myself thinking, the only way that could happen is if that car had a slant-6 engine of the kind 70's Dodge cars had. (Dodge Darts--remember those ?) Those puppies would run forEVER, assuming you could keep everything ELSE from falling apart !
