Advice for the nim final fight

I took a break after 8 hours of defiance. When I go back time for the boss fight. I have heard it is hard.
Any tips / faves for loadouts for the fight?

I have saved a shield with good recharge speed and time lapse.
Weapons I normally use an assault rifle and whatever is taking my fancy at the time or what I am doing.

I have saved a lot and have a fair amount of scrip any suggestions welcome.
Ego is around 800 or 900 cant remember now lol

I left Defiance because I will not support games by Trion.
They are inept and lie to their customers if you are thinking of buying this game or any paid content do not waste your money!!!!

a respark shield, an smg/AR/lmg or shotgun with syphon nano, and a bmg make this fight a complete joke

Jump a lot in this fight and that makes it easy. I would suggest a incinerator detonator or bmg and it makes the fight easy. The first part is probably the most difficult due to no cover, but that is what jumping is for. Later stages he will say something before specific attacks and all can be avoided by using the cover. I found the incinerator the best because you can set him on fire then hide to recover and it takes him down pretty quickly.

You really want a weapon that can hipfire fairly accurately. Shotgun works and so does a bmg.
The BMG is good because you really don't have to aim too much and close enough counts. (not to mention you can heal yourself which is always a plus.) With the shotguns some aim is required.

Now when battling nim #1 rule is don't stop moving.
You can dodge but just don't stop moving.

1st phase he will get up close too attack solo which is fairly easy but he is using blur so be aware of that.
2nd Phase he will have multiple clones. This is where the BMG comes into its own if you hit one you might hit all of them.
3rd Phase Watch for the crystals that pop up and his area AoE.

Other than that don't get too frustrated. If you choose to kill Nim with a BMG expect a long battle.

I have yet to use a BMG or an incinerator I only just played round with the infector and a grenade launcher last 2 days. I will have to test them first...

Had no problem taking him out with an AR, boomer, respark shield and a bio nade.

The bio nade was the key, it slowed him down just long enough to **** him with the boomer.

Well never made it to that point was in the bunker got tired fighting the 2 bulwark things is he after that? I hope my mission reloads there I gamed too much this week

You might wanna rethink the shotguns though. The last time I did it was after the nerf and I had to augment my strategy with a SMG.

ahh a thread thank you!!! The forum search function does not like 3 letter words and brings back odd results.
Someone online suggested a shotgun I never use them though.. I think I knew when I put defiance in I was too tired to game but started anyway after fighting the monitor then the robots I had to get some sleep.

Yeah, the search engine is kinda weak. But if you search for Nim Shandu, you'll find lots of hits in that subsection. My guide may be helpful, but there are others that may be more appropriate to your playstyle.
