Episode 5 covers it. He didn't "steal her" he rescued her during a ceremony that was pretty much pure torture for her. When she said "He did something for me that I couldn't do, he killed my parents" that was the incident she was talking about, her parents were there during the ceremony.

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

I get the impression irathients have a special bond between one another kind of like a wolf pack. Humans are kind of like this but slightly more individualistic. Irathients come off as stupider than everyone else as a whole which probably leads to them being more impulsive and quick to anger.

This. I don't watch SF to deal with vision, prophecy and Gods fantasy stuff. It would be like watching a fantasy TV show, and see a cylons attack.
    Sadly, nothing new.

There were several instances where a comment along the lines of the perceived "god" being "in both of us" were made. The god turning out to be nanobots, under control of the Ark with the primary purpose of protecting Votans. And just what did the Ark change course to crash into and destroy? Are the nanobots in Irisa and not deactivated, now that the Ark is destroyed? Are nanobots, along with her love having been killed by her adapting father, influencing her actions? Are they the cause of her visions? It's like she was 2 different people in the last show.

She didnt really turn out to be a very charismatic character i thought she would be. Every time she's in a scene it pretty much " oh great what crazy b.s. is this Irath gonna pull." Starting to get where the Iraths get there rep from.

How is Irisa suppose to wear the badge after letting Sukar rampage through the town?

Im guessing the whole Nolan / Irisia "Im irath, you're not." thing is going to be a recurring theme.

So was sukar dead at the end? It seemed like he was in a coma right? I like that guy and his crazy green carpet cape.

He'll come back. When there is danger to Votan life, Nano-Man will be there!

According to the doc, sukar's brain shut down and his spinal cord was severed and the nanites went dormant. However, he was murmuring and opened his eyes when she took Sukar to his group. Who knows.

I never had really any interest in Irisa. She's snarky, negative, too serious and can be a real ***** to the man who is pretty much her father sometimes. I don't care if she's a main character and can see the future..she's just a really grating and jagged character.

Watch your daughter. If she starts saying she's seeing visions, RUN!!!
