not when i see players with a much lower ego rating saying that theyre on their sixth legendary weapon and i have yet to get one.
I'm sitting on 4 and I'm at 1900 EGO. But it took til about 1300 to get my first. Yeah, random.

I would not mind not getting orange for days if the oranges I do end up getting where worth it and not shotguns which I dispise and crap detonators that only deal out 800 damage or only shoot two rounds before you have to reload.
So let me get this straight, you spent 800 Ark Salvage on boxes 3 days AFTER the bonus loot weekend ended?
Thats how I feel. I mean at this point, ive 150+ tier 3s, 98 tier 4s, not one orange. Then someone buys 2 lockboxes and get two legendaries. Yea its frustrating. But it is what it is. They should have a ratio system for every player, like if you spend so much, at a certain point you get an orange. THat way every player in the game gets one randomly before a certain point.
Example by the time a player buys 50 lockboxes, they should have gotten at least 1 legendary by then. The random part bieng it could have come in the first 5 bought, or the 50th bought, but assured by that time in so many lockbox purchases.
ego rank 3000 now and all i've gotten is 5 oranges so far.

ego 1755 vot nano fragger(without nano on it wtf) crap garbage with 1 whole shot every reload making it completely useless and brutal synergy is just WTF. you shoot things with guns not running around hitting things with it.

ego 2913 frc assault carbine. done leveling assault rifles so useless to me. mabey if it had the word heavy i might love it to death but it doesn't
so it seems even if you do get a orange its probably not worth it anyway with how poorly they are itemized and nothing special anyway so my question is why are they so rare then????? they are pretty much garbage if you ask me and most times a green is better or in my shields case a white is better

It is much better to have very rare weapons than to just have weapons that are relatively common, this way you might always get a better weapon.
If rare weapons weren't rare they wouldn't be rare.
Majority of legendaries don't have good enough stats to be considered "rare"
