I cant remember indeed somewhere ingame it was told, but i found it myself
Basicly use the salvage machine, first select the weapon you want to use/mod, then add a slot if the gun doesnt have one yet. After 10 minutes, its made and you can put in a mod.
Who said anything about voice chat?
You do know how to type, correct?
Hard to type when you have to aim and shoot things :P
