Nope. Dailies are awesome. They're calming, not stressful, sometimes they're even fun. It's a very nice and easy thing to do during offpeak hours, like in the middle of the day when nobody in your guild is online. Oh and I'm a Reputation junkie.

i don't mind the dailies being there. actually i think it's great that they reward justice now, as well.

what i hate, and what made me quit after only a mere month of MoP... is that all my dungeon crawling gear was tied to rep, and thus, dailies, and mixing the two together like that made me want to fire-bomb blizzards server farm.

so instead i quit, and have been feeling much better about blizzards horrendous decision making, as it no longer affects me, heh.

But you don't even need the dungeon gear. Just hit 90, buy a blue PvP set, and start doing Raid Finder.

As much as I hate the game, I really do miss its Economy. Other games just don't compare to it. Star Wars Galaxies was good with an in-game economy, but newer games don't even have Auction Houses (I'm looking at you, Defiance). At even if they do have Auction Houses, it doesn't matter because the entire game is Buy to Win (Now I'm looking at you, Neverwinter).

here's the problem i have with that... i was the main tank for my guild. pvp has no parry/dodge on it, and thus, was worthless to me. yet my crafted tank set was better than every single piece of dungeon dropped loot that had tank stats on it. the only way to get my ilvl up enough for guild raids (cause rolling out with 24 raid-finder nubs wasn't worth the headache, lets be honest) was to grind dailies that i hated, for rep i felt was useless, in order to buy 2-3 pieces of gear, just so i could get into a zone that dropped the exact same things, only with bigger numbers.

    so i quit.

and, btw, as one who came from older gaming, and saw the community that sprung up around a player-made trade hub... auction houses are a poison to socialization within the game. swg at least had player-run vendors, as well. so you still had to go to that person in order to pick up your purchase (well, their house, at least)... and you could quickly find out who was the more reputable weapon/armor/tool/whatever manufacturer based on how much foot traffic was coming in and out of the guys home. but personally, WoW's community has suffered immensely due to the auction houses.

I agree, I did like the system that SWG had a lot more, where everyone could have their own personal merchants if they wanted. It really made you feel like you were running a business instead of just posting stuff on an AH at the end of your playing session.

I don't think an Auction House makes a game any less social though. The merchants were nice, and added a lot of immersion to the game, but honestly there was barely ever a group of people in one store at the same time. At least with AHs, you'd see a huge group of people in the same area.

Also, there are a TON of different Add Ons for the Auction Houses that I thought were incredibly impressive. They really made the economy an entirely different mini-game inside the game. Being able to watch the trends in different markets was really cool. Couldn't do that in SWG with all the private vendors.

Now, if a game could come up with a hybrid system, I'd be in love. Player owned Merchant NPCs + being able to scan the entire economy + different QUALITY in crafted items (like in SWG it was based on your resources, I f*cking loved that) + a centralized spot where you can view all the different vendors and then get a waypoint to them.

Oh and + Player Housing, because it's obviously the best feature in any game ever.

Nah I sent her a request last night, I was just trying to be smooth about it instead of calling attention to it.
