A hate for Defiances boosts

So, I hate how the boosts work. I would prefer to be given 24hours of boost instead of 7 hours. Why did you guys not make it so that 24 hours of boost MEANT 24 HOURS. It pisses me off that you obviously purposely did that to gain more money. I want my boost to stop counting down the moment i log out of the game. Why not? I payed for 24 HOURS of boost, i should be given my 24 hours.

Yep, it's silly.
I can understand Clan boosts being 24 hours but personal boosts should be in-game time only, if not, they should sell 12 hour boosts.
I know this is also silly, but isn't this type of thing encouraging overplay?
Of course people will say "Well nobody made you play for 24 hours straight."
But this still does not change the fact that in a world gone crazy with liability and blame they are sort of encouraging people to play unhealthily long stints to get full value from a boost.

Well, then just stop buying the boosts.

If they don´t sell enough boosts the guys from financial department will ask why, and then they have to change things. Complaining here but buying boosts over and over won´t change anything.

Yes, I would buy this, I play really random and never know which day I can play the most (/eye kids).

I was going to buy a selection of various boosts but realised if I don't play 24 hrs in one go I am loosing out... so instead I bought nothing.

Heck if they made it more expensive but 24 hrs was actually 24 gaming hours, I would not hesitate to buy boosts on a regular basis.

Another good option.
There should be more options for people, 12 hour, Weekly, even 30 days.
Last game I played had many options; 1 hour, 24 hour, 7 day, and 30 day boosts.
Different rates like 5%, 10%, 30% for different costs.
Defiance has one 24 hour option only, not enough.

Totally agree with OP, I was going to buy myself some boosts the other day until I realised the 24 hour thing! I was only planning on playing a couple of hours that night and maybe some more the next evening until I realised that out of the 24 hour boost I would probably get 2 hours out of it! Didnt buy anything in the end.....their loss I guess

Guess actual game time boosts would sell much better or shorter boosts for less bits.

yeah i would try to buy boost only when i know that im going to spend most of the day playing.. and still could not fully use it.... 6 hours sleep.. 4 hours eating and watching tv... 2 hours personal hygiene and bathroom breaks.. almost impossible to actually use 24 hour boost.
