Well several hundred people got beta invite keys from Trion tonight during the live stream. Plus I noticed a few gaming websites giving out keys as well.

I go to my Trion account and the Defiance beta is now one of my games and it says that I am part of the Beta - I havent added anything extra to what I did for the stress test...

If your Trion account is registered for the beta then you are fine. It doesn't matter how you got invited afaik...
