    What is it? I'm not sure what it does either. And since beta nda is lifted, I an free to ask this question, I believe

    That's what I thought, but it doesn't seem to do anything other than make enemies die in a purple flare

    Yep, that is Syphon. It heals you when it triggers - returning some of the enemy hp/damage inflicted to you as health. Clicky.

    Syphon a.k.a. vampire. I believe it's ~450 instant damage to target, ~450 healing and/or shield points to you.

    Not sure if it regenerates shield, I think its only health you gain. Still fun to see enemies turn into a purple smoke
