Clichés kick me in the funny shins.Oh, yeah. Whether it's Amazon, Bestbuy, Walmart, etc.. if you're trying to get support on a game order problem it's usually a nightmare with them. The support representatives often have no idea what you're talking about since they're not specializing in games.
That said, I have had to wait three weeks for Steam to respond to a support ticket before because of backlogs. So, nightmares can be found everywhere.
Amazon has definitely sent me into a frustrated panic many times over last second shipments, but they have never not gotten a game to me by launch as promised. I didn't go with them this time because they weren't offering free or $1 guaranteed release day shipping for non-prime members. Thus.. dollars go elsewhere.

I'm actually going back to gamestop and getting them to change my hard copy to steam cards so i can get it digitally from steam. I didnt realize that going through the store and getting a regular copy i only get a low xp boost/scrip boost so that was one of my deciding factors + all the freebies with steam yeaa screw getting a statue and postcards...
I'm actually quite curious to see how many pre-orders there are for this game separately via the different consoles and pc to see how big this launch will be, quite excited for this game. Downloaded the beta client a little too late to play it but not playing beta's usually makes anticipation even more satisfying. Videos and such on the net look sick
Thats what convinced me. The physical items did not outshine the digital ones.

Glad your switching over to steam. I honestly dont understand why people dont go with it from the begining. They like to make the argument that they might not get those tier rewards. But if you dont go with steam you have absolutly NO WAY of getting the extras. At least with steam you still get your preorder bonus stuff, plus a CHANCE at tiered rewards. Even if we didnt unlock any of the the 3 tiers, we dont lose anything by it. I guess if some people have the slow interent issue, that makes alittle more sence, but your still going to have loads of updates and downloads even in the first week of release.

I had no idea of all the bonuses via steam til i started reading around here, also had no idea the physical copy got very low xp/scrip bonus etc really only reason i went there was to take a friend to pre order and he hooked me up to the CE. But after doing the research here and finding that i can use my gamestop credit on the steam prepaid it got me on board for sure. + storm legion which costs 40. Wonder what % discount its going to be on the season pass too. Either way gonna love this game for sure shootermmo ftw been waiting on this genre and trion is awesome
Let's take a random stab in the dark on the % discount. I reckon it will be somewhere around 10% - 20% off. Just a blatant guess though.
