The game is 20 euros more expensive on Steam than elsewhere and that's why I'm still thinking whether I should buy the Steam version or the standalone version.

20 Euros is a lot, id go for the standalone, did that myself. Somehow the rewards steam gives you, you will get ingame in a different way probably
