I have to agree that most players don't come onto the forum. I laugh with my friends about some of the posts (humorous comments and whine fests) but they said it's way too negative to join in on. Pity because there are some decent folk here and great tips.

Arkfall rules: Most of my friends turn the game sound down. I tend to leave it up for the Hell bugs that dig, but that's about it. I'm going to guess that a lot of people are in chat and not listening to EGO's prompts to understand what she's talking about. The first time I did an Arkfall I thought the skitterlings were preventing the arkfall crystal from being damaged. I see an enemy rush towards something that I'm trying to take down... of course I'm going to think that it's there to make things more difficult. That's when someone helpful typed in not to kill the skitterlings. They didn't call me a moron or type in all caps. Someone does that, it's like asking for people to do the opposite.

I am about 400 away from finishing the Arkfall enemies and it's a pain. I try to stick to enemy waves VS crystals so I'm not pissing anyone off. I'll usually jump into a crystal arkfall that doesn't have anyone in it and kill away until others arrive. If I have yet to be in an active non glitched arkfall that we didn't finish so I can't say much about the time. The rocket launchers can be annoying, but it's not a rage quit kind. If it gets too much I simply wait for the main boss and grab my points and go.

Let's see. A person paid at least $60, unless they got it pre-owned or something, for the game. For $60, I think people have the right to play any way they want. Some people are after the kills. Some people will sense that people such as yourself let the littlest things get you and will purposely try to bother you. YOU want to go after the crystal? Good for you. YOU want to go after the enemies? Good for you.

Just drop this already brought up topic. People are going to do whatever they want. So long as they aren't cheating or exploiting, just drop it.

Also, no matter what, I always see arkfalls getting done. Whether people are focusing on the crystal or focusing on killing all the Skitterlings. It always gets done.

I just love how people come in here and complain about what I have to say. Like I am the only one who has brought this up, Its obvious that it is a problem. I understand you bought the game and perhaps purchased some bits in the store and you feel that you should be able to play the game the way you want, YES you are entitled to this feeling, but in all reality you are a the troll, the person who opens fire on group of people in a movie theater, the person who goes out of their way to ruin fun for everybody else, the person who nobody wants to play with.


We need to make a sticky in the forums or make a pop up message in game about arkfalls. Plain and simple.

That statement in itself shows what a self important biggoted moron you are, and in my honest and frank opinion it describes you down to a tee, this is a game and people will play it the way they choose to, you are the problem here, so stop being an elitist idiot, just because people don't want to do things in your narrow minded view of "how things must be done" does not give you the right to demand that the game is changed to make it your personal paradise.

Ok, I am new to this game, maybe I am one of the idiots - so instead, try and be productive and tell me how you think we should engage with arkfalls? all I do is use the best and strongest weapon I have against the enemies on screen - is that wrong? what is the strategy?

I agree, rant all you want, but if you want a change, tell someone who just spent $ 60 on a game and is just trying to learn the game by trial and error, what they "should be doing at arkfalls"

When I was working on the 2500 kills pursuit, I did not do it when other players were around. I'd try to catch a major arkfall just as it came up and then go to the farthest crystal from the one where everyone is at. Then I kill skitterlings to my heart's content until other people show up. Thats when I switch to the crystal.

If you use AOE weapons like dets and rocket launchers you are gimping your own damage output and making arkfalls take a lot longer then they have to for people around you. It clearly comes from a lack of understanding of how arkfalls work or they wouldn't do it, unless their purpose is just to annoy people.
