Why do you feel the need to disprove our method? I am the clan mate they are referring to that got the two oranges after receiving the loot boost. I was in the Defiance store and in the featured items it said that loot boosts would increase the rarity of loot drops. My clan mates and I then formed a group with all of us having group loot boosts. With those loot boosts along with clan and self loot boosts I had a total of 27% loot boost.
I have been playing since the first week of the games release and only managed one orange shotgun early in the game. So I don't think that it is a coincidence that when I had the large loot boost that I received two orange weapons out of three tier three lock boxes. On a final note, in my opinion you are trolling this thread because my clan mate asked for people to join loot boost group, not debate. You seemingly got on this thread with the sole purpose of disproving my clan mate. If you aren't interested in joining the group, find something to entertain yourself with instead of being counterproductive with your negative and unwarranted responses.

Your insecurities must be crippling. I never said he was a ******* or attacked his character as a person. I feel he is trolling a thread to be argumentative just as you seem to be. Also I saw on another thread where you admitted to being an instigator so ,to me , you are either highly insecure or immature. Initiating arguments where none are needed or wanted, trying to get a rise out of someone for the sake of doing it is juvenile. If trolling forums and making people angry is your 'M.O.' maybe re-evaluate the way you portray yourself. Also if no one was trolling this thread, please then, explain to me how it went from someone asking others to group up and participate in the game, to back and forth banter about loot boosts and if they apply to lock boxes.
If you didn't want to participate in the group why then didn't you just move on? Also how am I acting? What is it that I said that was offensive or degrading in my previous post? I hope that you present yourself better in real life because if not you may lead a lonely,lonely life. I think I've entertained your need for arguing long enough but know this, your "instigating" is merely an annoyance to people with an intellect above that of the average sixth grader. Let me dumb down what the OP is trying to say so you can understand: the boosts appear to be affecting rarity, whether intended or not. No one cares what Trion says, half the crap in their game doesn't work anyway. It's entirely possible the boosts are busted too.

^^ This is what's so funny to me... Everywhere else on this forum, Trion's word is pretty much garbage, except in THIS thread, where Trion is absolutely, positively right and OP is wrong. I can't say from personal experience if it works or doesn't; I got my oranges without any boosts at all, but I don't see why it's SO HARD to fathom that the boosts could be 'glitched' somehow and affecting rarity, with everything else Trion has mucked up with this game, especially in the last few days.

Also hey I'm glad ppl doubt it. Just means everyone isn't going to be doing it like when scrap works was bugged everyone jumped on the bandwagon. I dont give a damn about what trion says to anything.
