Click on the "CD Key" button in Steam and then apply that to your Trion account and you'll have access.

Don't use the client from steam, that's the live client. You have to get the beta client from the website.
I am using the beta client to play the beta. You can find it in your trion account manage games . I have the steam preorder and get the same message .
I just use the beta client that I downloaded from Trion instead. I do not think Steam actually provides a beta client and that is why one gets the message when trying to use the steam defiance client..err that probably did n ot make sense. I could be wrong so you may want to check with support.

Thank you sir, any reason why it wouldnt show on my account management in tyrion tho? it only shows as 3 pre roders options eventho i applied both codes
Sitll get the same ****... Even with the BETA client, time to force a reimburse from Steam i guess..
