ok your ping to san fransico isnt bad you didnt go above 200 ping so it should be stable enough to play and game on without serious lag. other than that i would say its a serverside thing on TRIONs part because your tests seem good you shouldnt be getting more than 179 ping to the games server...

and if the port forwarding doesn't Trion NEEDS to beef up the servers/recode some things it would stop some of the disconnects and lag issues that many has been experiencing....

Think its at Trions end. Most times the lag is that bad it stops the console or boots me from the server. Hope they fix their s**t!

I have a great connection and my PS3 has NAT1, it`s connected in bridge mode in my router so, no firewall.
The ping s very relative because it depends on the distance between point A and point B, etc, and it seems it also depends on the server itself (quality).
If i play in the NA servers i barely notice sttutering problems, though i`m still to play an Arkfall or a Siege in the NA servers, maybe i`ll try it today.
Making tests in Europe, it`s the ones i made to Germany that concerns me the most.

yeah your internet connection seems to be just fine your ping is low enough on your US tests (servers are located in California) so that is most likely not your issue you are experiencing serverside lag or your ISP starts throttling your connection when your start playing games...

these tests are to decide if your getting lagg because of your internet connection or if its a serverside lag that your experienceing...

also do you have your console/PC port forwarded through your router as this can cause lag issues in games...
Thanks for the help, its not my internet though. I can ping most of Europe in under 50ms and San Fran in under 150. If the servers are in Leeds, then I'll be able to ping them in less than 10, advantages of living in Leeds. I suppose there has to be some

yeah but i dont think there is a server in Leeds i think they are all located here in the US in California so its probably serverside (having to do with the conditions and coding on the server)

    glad i could help though
