ps3 has no gaems

currently tracking over 9,472 liscensed titles playable on my ps3.. which is over 8,000 more than xbox even has, planned or otherwise...

xbox lists ~974 titles for the 360.. of all of those they counted, more than 70 aren't even out yet, ranging from in production to "planned" and cancelled.. yes, they list their cancelled titles also. They also count titles that are from other countries, that cannot be played on every console.... they also count the garbage you can dl on any cell phone and play for free... oh.. and the 500+ titles from the original xbox they payed nvidia money to create emulators for to make them "reverse compatible" .......

no games... it is crazy the things people say when FACTS explain otherwise...

Gaem:
A pejorative term used to refer to video games deemed, by the user, as generic exercises in mindless action/shooting/adventure/racing/or whatever

The capitalization and intentional misspelling of "game" attempt to mimic the crude online vernacular of the "typical" GAEMer, assumed to be teenagers and those lacking in cognitive ability.

The phrase can also be altered and applied to other game genres, usually referencing the most most base, repetitive aspect of a genre's gameplay. A common example is "GRINDAN GAEM", applied to RPGs and MMOs, mocking the repetitive combat and level building, or "grinding", necessary for in-game advancement, or "SHOOTAN GAEM", typically referring to a game of the FPS genre.


SO, Once again I am thankful that ps3 has no Gaems. I'll stick to their huge catalogue of good games for now.

PS: Never throw out a word like "gaem" to a professional linguist who studies etymologies as a hobby.

I stay with Sony because Sony is a company that is and has always been about entertainment longer than any other corporation. Cameras, laptops, Video recorders, Sony ****ing pictures...they know entertainment and know how to get it right. They have one strike with me due to the train wreck of the PS3 launch but it looks like they have learned their lesson with the PS4 reveal and statements.
