Alright, how do I get Infectors up to level 10 for the Going Commando III Pursuit?

Use them? The quickest method for me was the Canker on a Forge or Hulker. I used a forge mostly, hitting it in the "eye". I could see my weapon exp bar moving with the large DOT ticks. The bugs also level your weapon up too, so you can use immunizers or whatever else, I just felt the canker was quicker.

Thanks. I know using them is the only way, it's just that with the range and homing range being what they are, they seem more impractical against most enemies is all.

I think he is confusing you with another player on these forums with a similar name that hates infectors.

Thanks for sharing your build. Is that a Strain Reducer on the infector?

Yes they aren't really that powerful for the most part compared to the better weapons in PVE, but they have their uses. An immunizer with a strain reducer will work out pretty well if you need range. They don't level up quite as quickly though, find a few cankers and bringe an immunizer as well to compare at san quentin hulker. Er better yet, find a forge in San Fran... when the eye opens up stack 3 "dots" and get some space and watch your infector level bar. You should smile.

To elaborate on this, find a forge and leash him away from his base area and do tons of damage then run away, he will chase only so far and then run back to reset. Rinse and repeat. Same goes for hulkers if you choose to do so.
