Explode on contact Grenade Launcher

Has anyone found or seen a Grenade Launcher that explodes on contact? I purchased the Detonator-type during yesterday's all too brief stress test. It seems to the detonator can only be used when the grendes land?stick to a surface, not in mid-air. If that is the case I would rather that explodes on contact or after a few sec.

There is only 1 form of grenade launcher as far as us vets have seen. However there are 3 types of missle launchers, rpg, chucker, and homing. The grenade launcher has a higher skill ceiling in pvp and pve. But I believe they will be adding more types of weapons. There are MANY "advanced weapons" these spawn in quests and arkfalls that are not found anywhere else in the game(these include melee weapons miniguns and special missle launchers). IF you want a new weapon type suggest it.

Thanks for the reply, yesterday's Stress Test was my first time playing the game. I glad to hear that are different explosive types, not mention melee weapon types. Gives me something to look foward to next weekend
