I currently have to write a quick essay about my first date. Frankly i'm one of those type who can write forever i just can never really find a way to get a introduction started. I'm kinda just freewriting but i am not really liking what im writing so since this is a off topic thread i was wondering if you guys can come up with a thesis about a first date scenario. It is supposed to be a Account of your first date.

1. Write the story.
2. After writing it decide some key points of interest of it or some peak point of it in the story, or the resulting outcome(your choice really). Take the point you choose and cryptically build your intro paragraph around that point to make the reader curious to read the story from there. An example sentence that delivers this: If I had known that my first date would result in other "firsts" that would haunt me for the rest of my life, I would never have never have gone on it. (or something to that effect).
3. Edit edit edit edit edit edit.
I would start with, when I first met them, got introduced, heard of, or however it happened, and then recount what it was that drew you in, that way people can see what you saw, and understand what lure was there, taking them for the ride, and engaging them I to the rest of the story. As in, when we were first introduced, I didn't think much of it, she seemed nice had a great smile, and looked like someone you could bring home to your mama. As we stood around making idle chat, she popped a piece of gum in her mouth. I made a joke about it, and omg her laugh. It sent a chill up my spine, like a wave of idiot happy and sunshine just cut through that nervous idle icebreaker chat. I would give anything to hear that sound again, and spend the next few minutes racking my brain for witty one liners, and all my lovestruck brain offered was, "baby, you should sell hot dogs, cause you sure know how to make a weiner stand". I wanted to slap myself upside my head. So I stood there smiling, nodding my head at her witty banter, her words tumbling forth in her nervous state of first impressions. I wanted to spend all night with that laugh, I just hoped my brain would wake the heck up before we got to the Chinese restaurant!
