Hey I don't like it at all either but good luck finding that rare dev that makes a game you want to play and that does so without there being problems.

And yes this crap should be fixed, as should everything in the game that does not work to extreme and irrational even perfection.

But it's also just not rational to think that you'll not be just as displeased or more so with some other company. And I'm not saying that because I'm 100% enthused about how all this stuff is and has been handled. The problem is saying you are done with THIS company, implies the others are just super terrific. And Trion has attempted to maintain some dialogue with player, something I've never seen before in any game. It's not always perfect and of course it could be better, but it's more than what other companies do.

The fact is every company you will deal with doing anything today is consistently going to try and do the least expensive thing for the most amount of return on their money. We live in an Apple/Walmart/EA world. Welcome.

Just has a bit of a hollow ring to it right now. It will take at least another 2 months of patches going at least reasonably for them to convince me of that.

Isnt this what happened with every other update though? It seems something else always goes wrong. You should test the update for a week and not just a day. I rather wait and make sure that it works. A day is not enough time to test an update. If you have given it a day before then we can see why things are messed up.

It's the nature of patches and you really have to ask players what they want-something that works right and takes longer or something quick that sort of does the trick. People are incredibly impatient today. Some do have good reason (people paid for boosts that keep dropping off and coming back and clan boosts do the same) and the weekend especially an XP boost weekend is not a good time for things to break-some people can only play on the weekend.

Yes, but I think this is the first time I heard a Trion rep stating this outright about testing.
Usually they just tried to skirt the complaints over issues.
