Don't get me wrong I am not blaming Trion issue on Erik. Erik is just a employee who works for Trion. I sure he is the one they call when a dev has mess things up and so he has to come in and fix it for them. Erik has been here though day one of this issue and has communicated with us on eta and where they are in getting it fix and what they are doing to fix it. If you were to contact live support they would of gave you a copy and paste answer. Erik has sat here though everyone ripping him a new one and all the insults and he is still communicating with us.

I have to agree with the OP on this one...

Between all of the Patches, the 2 big game Updates, and the many Hotfixes we have got, we still see a ton of the major issues that have plagued this game since day 1.

Now; to make matters worse, it's not even becoming enjoyable to play the game anymore since the Social aspect is now experiencing intermittent issues.

I've tried coming up with excuse after excuse FOR Trion and to justify continuing to play this game...

It's getting harder and harder to do...

And to those that have been saying the population is getting smaller and smaller, I would say that is def accurate.

I saw 7 Active Arkfalls on my map the other day, only 2 of them got completed as there was just a handful of people at each final phase.

Heck even the Siege that happened later in the night had only about a total of 5 people at it.

It's becoming a ghost town...

Answer me this: How does the Social Aspect of the game get broken when we didn't even have a major patch/update to the game?

So now we already know to be nervous when a big patch/update to the game comes as we know it's a ton of downtime and more things get broken.

...but now there doesn't have to be those updates for things to get increasingly broken? Geeesh

I get that Rift is pretty decent, but Defiance is my first run in with Trion.

Unfortunately, it'll probably be my last.

You know, a LOT of businesses that are open on Sundays because they advertise 24/7 actually have people on hand to make sure you aren't in an empty store when you get there.

just a question for the OP:

does your quick menu doesn't work? ok so the social menu is not working (wasn't for me earlier when i was playing) but a friend was online, who is on my xbox friend list, and i was able to join up with him using the quick menu. unless you're playing on pc then i don't know how quick menu works on that.
