Sieges have been a lost cause for me today. I think the max I have seen in a full 15 minute seige is 5 people at once

Had a Siege at Chinatown Gate. Only 5 of us, and we almost made it to level 7. Checking the map, I noticed a busy arkfall (scrappers) in the south west, and a Shadow war going at the same time. Could explain the derth.
As yesterday was a Monday, I'd guess some people were working. (yes, some of us DO have lives, you know)
Rarely have I seen a more idiotic and assinine reply. Perhaps you should practice a little of what you preach.
The MMO aspect of Defiance has been broken all weekend long. What happens to an MMO when it's no longer an MMO? People stop playing. Now, here's where you can apply some of your priceless common sense you seem to be so proud of. A chunk of the community is already pretty unsettled and displeased with how Defiance has been panning out. Now Trion throws this curveball at them, and suddenly, people can't even hook up with their friends in a MMO based game. You'd have to have a single digit IQ to come to the conclusion this would not result in losing at least some players permanently after having rode out all the other problems to date. This is almost the straw that broke my back...I'm damn close to giving up on this game.
The biggest gripe I have is Trion has proven they're better than this, at least in their handling of Rift. Rift's release was buggy, but it was infinitely more playable than the train wreck that is Defiance. The biggest problem I remember from Trion's release of Rift was not enough server space to handle the unexpected sales. I'm just not sure why Defiance/Trion is having so many damn issues over and over...hell, it's not like Trion hasn't made an MMO before.
My buddy is 50 miles up the road and it appears we were both directed to different servers. We were both standing is the same place on the game map and couldn't see each other. Hope this is fixed soon. Don't care about the downtime. If you can't chil with friends on a MMO then this just becomes another Fallout which doesn't require bits.

That's what happened to me this weekend. I missed out on the XP and everything![]()
I usually have around 30 or so people online at the same time. However, I have a two simple explanations or last weekend. 1. High School and College Graduation parties (these event are non age specific, entire families have to attend) 2. An mmo with social functions down is not entertaining so the all the peeps that are bored and looking for someone to play with switched games for the weekend.
