Do players really know how to do roadside incidents/quests?

I read a post that it was quiet over the bonus xp weekend. I found doing roadside sample collection and road blocks the quickest way to get xp (except the plague roadblocks-low xp for the time).

I went to a number of "yellow" dot incidents (sample collection and road blocks) and found I just had to get the samples and the quest was finished with the xp jumping on the screen.

I'm wondering if people kill the hell bugs, elites and everything else, see no xp or any notice of completion and just leave!
Another reason could be, when I die at a roadside (giant hulked spawns, with Hell bugs at a plague road block-unsurvivable) , I can not access the map to see where I am to come back and finish it. Some times the spawn point is miles away from the quest I got killed at. If I do not know the area well, I can't find my way back.

I would have found 7 such world quests (where I only had to do the easiest thing to complete it) in the space of an hr this morning. Good for me, but bad for the poor player who did the hard work and logged out.

It's most likely a case of drive-bys. People drive from Arkfall to Arkfall and run the NPC's over at the Emergencies. They don't stop to finish it with freeing the Ranchers. So it's just 'there' until somebody comes along. Enjoy it, since it's you.

its actually a really easy way to sham xp.. if u just drive over 1 enemy at each emergency you see when you are on the way somewhere and someone later completes it.. as long as you havnt logged off/entered coop/entered pvp you get the xp and cash when someone else comes along and finished it.. while driving to one of the sieges i got about 6 or 7 pop up

What really annoys me is when I do stop to do one and ALL of the enemies are gone. This happens a lot at the scrapper roadblock north of Bug 'N' Chug, just where a left turn takes you toward the big open area. I poke around, and nothing is left to fight, not even something that wandered off to fight some hellbugs.

The ones where I just have to kill one or two things? No big deal. I might never kill all the enemies I'm supposed to, but my completionist record is poor anyway...

If I'm playing for a good chunk of time, I'll do most of the event and leave a node or an enemy up and leave. Chances are some one will clean it up and we both get xp.

Random spawns like that are great for grinding.

Don't think they work like arkfalls where you can tag and leave

My guess is a lot of people like myself gave up on doing most emergencies after they removed keycodes. Will do one here or there but nothing like at beginning. Overall it's just way too repetitive for such little reward to stop and do each one.
