    something I wasn't expecting.

I know that you can mod weapons to boost melee strength and all that, but I bought a purple shotgun the other day. It had decent stats and had two mod slots with no other defining features. That is until I punched a guy and it set him on fire. I didn't expect it and it made me laugh. I tested it and sure enough the shotgun I got gave me elemental melee. Nice touch in my opinion.

    Elemental effects:
    - fire: dot
    - electricity: stun
    - biohazard: reduced defence
    - siphon: steal life

Setting people on fire is fun with shots, but the insanity of doing it in melee sounds even more entertaining. Now if I could get a vehicle that sets people on fire when I clip them but not run them over.

If you look on the Item above the Stats and below the mod slots it will show you its elemental power if it has one... If it as Melee elemental the word 'Melee' is also displayed in this box.
