If that is considered "skill", then the word and it's meaning has been greatly devalued. The weapon and mod combination is apparently a rarity, otherwise they would be abundant. Simply saying there needs to be a balance.

Yet you guys try and derail and smite anyone who points these problems out. They are not the ones QQ, you are. They are giving feed back.
I am not going to sit here and blame a gun for my or anyone else's lack of skill. On top of that, infectors already suck in PvE, and it would just make them worse to appease the PvP minorty

    ?????

The infector is the most widely used gun in PvP. Considered to be the best for obvious reasons in what it can do. And used by many because of that.

The gun is awesome in PvP. No doubts about it. You don't need to aim and it home's in on other players. The best gun to use against pesky Human opponents.

Yet it sucks it PvE??? Its no good against the considered slow AI enemies of Defiance?

    Lets get this straight..

Awesome against Human players in PvP....

Awful against weak AI bots in PvE...

The power of the Infector doesn't transfer over between the two at all....?

    Strong logic.

    Not sure if serious.

infectors best asset, homing, is significantly less important in PVE because the enemies are infinitely easier to hit. because of this, most ar/lmg/smg's will be better because they do more dps as you can easily connect with 90-100% of your shots.

infectors are still great weapons in pve don't get me wrong. but they don't compare to a decent ar/lmg/smg.

This, but I still hate em, dps blows.....and I just don't find them fun to use.

Ok good. So we come to the conclusion that the Homing Effect is not important in PvE because the enemies are easier to hit. And we come to the conclusion they would still be great weapons because things in PvE are easy to hit.

Then why do we need the infector to have the Homing Effect like it does in PvP then? It will still be a great weapon in PvE if it didn't. No?

I think I might be making some break throughs here everyone.

there would be 0 reason to use an infector if it didn't home... so no, it shouldn't be removed completely.

Zero use? The bugs spawning and running to seek after enemies is not incentive enough for you to use it? You just don't want to aim when shooting it eather?

lol if the infector never had the homing effect on it to begin with then you would never see posts on here saying "The infector needs a auto hit homing effect." . You would never see that be said.

not even remotely. like i said, they do significantly lower dps than a good AR/SMG/LMG. and if i have to aim the thing anyways i may as well use a gun that kills 50% faster.

I have stated my opinion more than once, just because I don't personally use them, many people do, and to nerf something strictly because the PvP minority cries about it is BS. Be it infectors or ANY other gun.
