Well done Trion! (and a few thoughts)

Just wanted to say - this is the gameworld Ive been looking for for a long time! We've been having a freaking blast and cannot wait for launch =)


Now, a few things folks seem to be having problems with:

Ammo: Yes in some instances ammo is scarce. Mainly major arkfall environments. This may be by design as part of the difficulty factor. I noticed it to be a problem when just starting out but less of one as weapons become more efficient and ammo regenerating perks are obtained. I still have to head to the nearest ammo box once or twice during an arkfall but its generally not a huge hassle. But, it can be annoying to have to drive a good ways away from the battle pick up fresh ammo.

Arkfall loot: Its already been stated that the loot tables for Arkfalls is OFF during beta. Ya'll can stop complaining about that already. And for those that feel theres too little loot, heh, you should see how fast my 45 inventory slots fill up.....

PVP: I think pvp is well done - you have pvp specific maps to que for - with more coming with launch. You also have the Shadow War, which Ive only seen pop up once - but wow, it turned half the map into a pvp zone should you choose to participate. Thats pretty neat.

Obviously we are not on the final build and probably not even the most current build - so many if not all complaints may have already been addressed. (Remember that folks)


Overall my gaming group has found it damn fun to zip around from mission to mission while stopping occasionally to help out at a random event or dynamic encounter. The guns feel good, the outfits are just awesome and we are chomping at the bit to get to April 2nd!

For the most part I agree. I really am enjoying this game. While there are some problems, some big, some not so big there are also a lot of things working just right. At times I'm surprised how much content people expect there to be at launch, when they are comparing it to games that have been in the market for several years and have had time to build up the content they have.

Aye. Plus, its a limited beta. Why people dont seem to understand that we are only seeing a small fragment of gameworld/content is beyond me - its been stated time and time again.
