PS4 will retail for $399
There were a handful of exclusive titles, and there was a focus on PS Vita and PS3 materials more so than the PS4. They also covered (much like the Xbox One) the multitude of media and content coming to the PS4.
Also fine print in several ads and mentioned on stage was that multiplayer access for PS4 game would REQUIRE PS Plus subscriptions in addition to PSN Accounts.
The only different in the PS4 and Xbox One at the moment besides which handful of exclusives your rooting for is the fact that Xbox will allow 3rd party developers decide to limit User sharing right out the box. Sony did not mention this, but has not stated that some sort of DRM would not be implemented for third party titles should they desire it.
To me it's very much an open market, but as a cable user I can tell you the Xbox One will get my money if it truly replaces the POS Motorola cable box under my entertainment center, that alone will save me $20 a month, that's $240 in the first year alone... that's half the cost of an Xbox One recovered.

That's cool, I'm not leaning either way at the moment really. They say the cable box replacement may not support DVR, that's a deal breaker for me.
After the cable thing it comes down to exclusives for me, and honestly neither camp has shown me anything that makes me just wanna rush out and spend a car payment for a console. I can get a few more years outta the 360 for now.
I only play multi player online on the xbox and my router is always on. Ain't a problem for meplus I hate credit card theft *cough*sony*cough*

For me i gotta go with Xbox, better controller, online service and from what was shown.. more exclusives.
i did find that little jab Sony made about always online and the used games funny even though MS is not charging us for used games and is leaving that option up to the publishers.
but like all new systems there is no way in hell im buying at launch.
I just don't trust Sony's online service after they got hacked not once but twice (1 month after a bought a PS3), especially now that it's not free to play online.
