LOL I have a PS3 and barely use it....I sometimes think it was actually a waste of precious money....good thing I got it on a black Friday sale LOL

I got it for games like The Last of Us, but that's about it LOL

About the entertainment path they have taken with the XBOX ONE...I personally like it 'cause maybe it will save me the $50 I spend on my monthly cable bill...

The entertainment stuff sounds cool. But Im going to wait and have to see what is standard and free and what has to be paid for. By the looks of it all they are trying to tack on little fees for everything.

they removed the ms points bit.. which never matched the categories of $$ being charged, allowing them to pocket just that much more per transaction. Chances are, with the "up front" model, they will either tac on fees or have them rolled up in the posted pricing.

as for other media being used.. ps still winning that category, ps3 having the highest media transactions of all the consoles, which will only expand into the next gen, BUT.. be wary.. those who think they can live without their usual tv channels using either console will be disappointed.. unless they only watch one show.... the digital tv formula is not quite there yet.

I guess you need changeable hard drives because you will fill it with all the free crap games you get on ps plus that you must pay for now to play online

i already have ps+ so no biggie, plus it's not like i have to download them if i don't want to

Just saying, Microsoft was paid by the ESA and the kinect is part of Prism. It's always on, regardless of it being on "pause." If it can hear you saying "Xbox on," then it can hear everything else you say. This thing can recognize everything about you. They'll watch your eye movement and facial expressions to see if you're watching the ads or not, and if you are, then they will reward you, just like a rat. I don't know about you, but something that can detect my heart rate, listen to everything I say, and examine my facial expressions and eye movement patterns? No thank you, that's a risk I'm not wiling to take. Microsoft says they won't be using it to spy on you, bullsh*t! If they don't, some random punk will! I refuse to believe that it's "hack proof." If the Government's top security agencies aren't, then there's no way Microsoft is.

It's just like the phone records the Government pulled. Yeah sure, you may not have listened to exactly what I said over the phone, but they know where I called from, what type of phone I called from, when I called from it, how long the call was, who I called, and where they were at the time I called them. That's faaar more dangerous. Like that reporter said, they could get people killed with that. Oh, I wonder who Cindy's contact on the inside of so and so's branch is? Let's check the phone records! this is so true. if all you have to do is speak or waive an arm and it turns on, best believe the camera and mic is always on. but hey if you wanna trust that they won't spy on you go for it. i for one will not hand over my rights just to play a video game

I think people need to do a lot more research on the Xbox One. It seems as if a lot of people are justifying their Xbox One purchases on a lot of misinformation.

One example: The Xbox One does not get rid of your cable box, it simply streams all tv through the Xbox, but you still have to pay for all of that other stuff.
