Microsoft just keeps inventing things for people who are NOT gamers. Kinect? For kids. TV/Netflix/Media? For parents. And don't feed me that crap about "now they'll be new gamers" because they're not actually playing real games! They're dancing and watching tv. They don't magically become gamers just because they pop in the latest Let's Dance!

Microsoft is going to end up just like Nintendo. A respectable company, but nobody takes them serious when it comes to real gaming. They're the fluff console. They exist for family entertainment, and not for hardcore gaming. PlayStation has recognized this and has decided to cement themselves as the gamer's choice.

So playstation is for hardcore gamers with no current form of communication except for in game chat which isn't a sony thing. Having no exclusive hardcore multiplayer games for their system. What makes sony a system for hardcore gamers? I get to play all of sonys big name titles that made them who they are today on the xbox one.

For your first point I know people who have their internet knocked out all the time and Microsofts new system would cause problems for them.
Secondly from what I have been reading companies seem to be using Sonys.
Thirdly Forza didn't look anything special and will struggle to beat games like Gran Turismo, Also Halo has got nothing on games like Killzone. Also Dead Rising looks like they have taken the game away from its origins.
Look at the Exclusives Microsoft has coming out. None of them even look that good. But when you look at the games Sony are bringing for example the MMO's they are catering to more gamers.

Yeah, the PS3 launched at a really high price. Because of that, they didn't sell as many consoles as the Xbox 360. So you know what Sony learned from that? They learned not to launch at a really high price! Microsoft didn't learn anything and now they're going to make the same mistake that Sony made.

Also, if the Xbox One is so superior and is perfect for true gamers - then how come ever since the first Xbox press conference my twitter, facebook, google+, etc, feeds are all completely full of people making fun of Xbox? You are, no exaggeration, one of only 2 people that I've seen out of literally hundreds and hundreds that is saying he'll get the Xbox and not the PS4.

Like I mentioned on Reigning Sun - the reason it's called the Xbox One is because only One person will buy it.

1. Pirated software on a console? There's barely any of that.

2. MS operating system is better? Are you insane? The current MS operating system is god damn WINDOWS 8! Please explain to me why game devs are going to be making games for that awful Windows 8 crap. Oh that's right - they're not. They're developing for PS4 which is why most of the new games coming out either have JUST NOW confirmed they're on PC also or they STILL (like Destiny) haven't been confirmed for PC. Because MS OS sucks giant hairy monkey balls.

3. Sony doesn't rely on having "flagship" exclusives. They create games, the games grow, the games outgrow being an exclusive. Rinse, repeat. Only Xbox has to hold onto exclusives to get people to buy their console.

4. Sony hasn't finished announcing all their exclusives.

1) not alot but it exists. as does hacking and as does money going to gamestop over the devs.

2) xbox doens't run games on windows 8. again false info. it runs on the xbox OS. and games are made for it. then ported to PS OS. Xbox OS is more stabile and has more features and the new system has 3 OS's xbox, windows 8, and a 3rd custom one to bridge the 2. and windows 8 is an awesome OS in case you are wondering. so was 7. vista was the last bad OS they made but you clearly don't have muhc of a clue since everythig u state is false

3) umm thats what gaming is about. flagship franchises. xbox w/o halo would have failed. PS w/o MGS would have failed. if not for them, why buy a gaming system? all the sony exclusives aren't good. and they lose the good one in MGS now. all they have left os god of war which isn't even any good. xbox has good exclusives and run the cross platforms ones better. plus better online service. strip away all the features and the price and the kinect and everything and xbox wins still asa gaming console

I'm amazed that I still see people talking about how Microsoft's online service is better. I've played both major consoles pretty extensively and had much lousier connection issues on the X-Box.

Yet for just being recycled gaming it outsells most original titles which are supposed to be huge named game and will continue to do so.
