Microsoft is giving free stuff to the customers. The media platform is a step forward in getting those who don't game at a hardcore level to combine their household media into a voice controlled system that is easy to use. Sony seems to be rolling out just another playstation, but wait they now have party chat. I like your whole post except it is funny that you are on xbox 360 so next time before you try and make a point how about playing on the company's console that you so desperately try and defend. Looks like sony has abandoned or at least not pushing their Move peripheral at all. They have lost a lot of the big name past generation games that made them so popular which does say something.

Sony has also been on the downswing. from the PS1 to the PS2 it dominated. tehn the xbox came out and took a small share. then the next gen game and the 360 outsold it by more then twice the units. MS is on the upswing and sony is fighting for its life.

xbox has been doing everything sony is gonna try and do for the 1st time for over 10 years. i'd rtaher use and established service then a new one. would you rather use verizon for phone service or some fly by night boost mobile? you know verizon has better cell service. 300k dedicated servers for live and cheaper price then PSN with bad security large downtime and no dedicated servers. what exactly are you even paying for with PSN?

1) if you have a storm taht kocks out your internet for over 24 hours, i'm pretty sure your not gonna be playing games and you probably won't have electricity either. once every 24 hours isn't gonna stop you form playing unless you can't pay your internet bill. also it will keep hackers and pirated software offline for a better online gaming community.
2) MS Os > sony OS. so devs develop for MS and port. that isn't gonna chnage. most engines are tuned for PC and xbox PS only gets ports except for their exclusives. and that isn't gonna change. xbox uses the power more efficiently then sony due to the 3 OSs it runs. i seen xbox change from TV to games to internet to moveis in a flash with voice command, PS4 couldn't even run a small demo of AC4. PS3 was more powerful then the 360 but the 360 works better. history shows that the slightly better ram isn't gonna make a diffrence
3) If you like the order thats cool. i bet you forza and halo outsell it miles. i love how one video of a trialer means a game blows away established awesome franchises. plus dead rising 3, and a slew of other awesome games announced for X1 only. i mean IDK how it can be better based on a trialer over established frnachises. sony lost its flagship franchise with MGS
4) how is MS not geared to gamers but sony is? MS has more exclsuive games coming out then sony. to me that measn they are more focused on games

3. Sony doesn't rely on having "flagship" exclusives. They create games, the games grow, the games outgrow being an exclusive. Rinse, repeat. Only Xbox has to hold onto exclusives to get people to buy their console.

Sony ANNIHILATED (sorry, the Forbes article I linked used the term HUMILIATED) Microsoft at E3. This is a great thing for all of us as gamers. Sony isn't targeting a younger audience because they know Nintendo and Microsoft already are. Sony wants to target real gamers because that's what they care about. Sony doesn't want to "give those who are not gamers a chance to experience gaming" because DANCING is not gaming! TELEVISION is not gaming!

Well your problem is that there are more non real gamers than actual gamers as you call them. When a system can get sports fans interested in buying a system or even parents involved that is a whole new audience of people now becoming gamers. It is foolish for sony not to be targeting these casual gamers since there is a lot of lost money in not doing so. There is a lot more than just dancing and with the enhancing microsoft is doing it could lead to the first whole body interactive video game. If you have seen the boxing games in arcades where you actually put on gloves and dodge and weave while actually punching. There are chance for games like that to be developed for the kinect.

Microsoft is giving old games to customers for free because people keep *****ing about their xbox live costs. Ooooh, assassin's creed two for free. Who the hell cares?

Voice controlled system that's easy to use? Because pushing some buttons was too difficult right? How many voice controlled systems have you ever seen that don't totally suck? "Start game: Halo". Response - "Shutting down."

Sony didn't feature their Move stuff because they know that only little children playing those lame Dancing games care about Movement technology. Sony is making a console for real, grown up gamers. Xbox is making a console for kids and for their parents, hence the all in one media center.

They've lost a lot of their big name exclusives because the games did so incredibly well that they've grown to be too big to be an exclusive. Really the only game that will always be an exclusive is Halo because it's pretty much completely owned by Microsoft. Normally, the only exclusive games are newer start-ups.

sony lost its big exclusive with MGS. and at one point weren't people like what is halo? just some new game they are pushing taht will fail. how dod that work out? MS has always been a agmers system. they invented and perfected online console play, they invented halo, the brought FPS's like counterstrike to console. sony gave us outdated JRPGS and kids games like kingdom hearst,which they now lost. they lost KH, lost MGS, what did MS lose?

also xbox gets content first. destiny is coming out on XBOX before the PS. DLC gets launched first for xbox and works better on it. all i see for sony's defense is pure made up stuff. please bring facts of your gonna make an argument

I was going to keep this conversation going, but seeing as your a butt-hurt fanboy im just going to stop. the PS4 won this year, Get over it. I wouldnt see so many "Screw Xbox, Im going PS4" all over the web otherwise. Your precious little console isn't always going to be the greatest, get over it. Whichever is my preffered console is the one that impressess me the most. I was X360 this gen until it broke, and broke, and broke. Then i went back to PS3. Next gen is all about PS4.
