I've reserved both systems. The internet stuff doesn't bother me with the xbox one because I have pretty solid consistent connection. I don't really loan out games so that doesn't bother me either. We'll see how they handle the system as they still haven't announced every single detail yet. At worst at least my girlfriend will enjoy the entertainment part of it. I started off liking sony with the PS and PS2 then switched to Microsoft withe Xbox and 360 although I do own a ps3 I was disappointed that it lost all of its exclusives and live is better than psn for the time being. It looks like Sony has the upper hand and maybe they can take back over if they play their cards right. I'm looking forward to seeing what both systems have to offer.
I was the same, PS1 and PS2 (though I did have Sega Saturn as well, I came down the Sega line at the start...lol)
I keep swaying between both camps, if I had the money I would get both and not worry too much.
But there is still a lot we don't know about either system, hence I adopted the wait and see approach. A lot can change before both systems are on the market, be it price changes, policy changes and so on and so forth.
While both systems have some good exclusive (nothing mind blowing) its been the multi platform games that have been the one to stand out, which of course doesn't make life any easier in the decision..lol

just don't get the xbone dude. it sucks. it is full of ridiculous limitations. just watch the angry joe review for all the info, but it is horrible. just don't buy it. it's a waste of money.
we didn't pay for bugs; fix the game!
How was i countered with the facts when I linked you to an official Sony document released after E3 and then you claimed it was wrong....lol
Is your reading comprehension not so good, or its those selective fanboy reading glasses your wearing? I have started a number of times in this thread alone, i am undecided and won't decide until after both systems have been launched.
Your really trying to get this thread closed, how about you run along and leave this thread to people who are trying to have an open, objective and respectful conversation about both consoles and the plus and negative sides of both. Including trying to discover answers to the many unanswered questions that have arisen.

At first I would have been in total agreement, but the past few days more and more information is coming to light that is showing that its not all clear cut as it seemed last week. So playing the waiting game seems to be the best option for me and deciding when both are on the market.

So what happens if a snowstorm or mother nature nocks out power for days or week/weeks then what? I have not found anything on this anyone help?
What if I go on VACATION how does that play in?
Yea they want the Xbox one to be an entertainment system. Unfortunately they also making it pretty stationary. Unless your friends get one and u could go over their place and pull up your account, its basically a one house system. Vacations snow storms everything that knocks out internet will basically make your system a paperweight. That's why I'm getting both systems. At first I just wanted the Xbox one until I got more details about their policies. If I had to chose just one now it would be ps4 and that's coming from an Xbox fan. I don't know all the details yet about both systems but with what I know right now. Sony has the upper hand.
