The internet infrastructure simply isn't up to scratch, and I can see many technical issues coming into play. we've had MS cloud storage on the Xbox 360 for a while now, great idea in theory. In practice though its corrupted a number of game saves when I've used it and was down I believe 2 days ago for ages.
The xbone will offload game components to the cloud while your playing to free up resources on the machine so a solid internet connection is going to be a must. What if MS servers go down? Then what?
To be fair to MS ISP's are to blame for the lack of investment into improving the internet, I just don't see how MS can see the current state of the technology as ready for an always on device heavily reliant on cloud storage.
You might be a King or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the Reaper.
They've said enough with the info they've released haven't they? You have to have an internet connection every 24 hours. If not you have up to one day to get a connection and if u don't u can't play games offline. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's essentially bricking the system. If u can't game on a gaming system what else do you do with it? The polices don't really affect me because my internet is pretty stable, but it has made me invest in a ps4 as well as an Xbox one. Just in case they don't hold up their end of the bargain with their servers and infrastructure.
Its not fully bricking a system, you can't play games on it until you log in again, not in the sense of the Nintendo Wii-U day one update bricking.
You can still use it as an oversized blu-ray player and a few other bits, but with its look you can have that retro VHS vibe running as well![]()

that is probably the fairest statement towards Xbone ( i cant say ill make any that are fair but still =P ) what M$ is trying to do isnt going to work well with alot of ISP's (to those that have one that is) and its just going to backfire on alot of ppl till they do that. but then in turn i believe ISPs will attempt to raise the prices for the services they require as well.....>.>
