The first two episodes they use heaps of old weapons to kill the volge etc, the deputy uses an old shotgun.. There are old stuff in game but as others have said if its not in there its probably due to licensing to the companies that make them, would cost trion a lot.

I think what the latest wars gave us mostly is drones, drones are every where now thanks to the latest bunch of wars..

Oh and Pickup trucks with AA and jet weaponry strapped to the back...

are we also forgeting that the weapons in the game other then being sci fi type weapons that also the fact that what was it 3 alian races 5 alian races ? came to earth. the endogines (( spelling on that )) are super genius scintests whos to say that a large number of the weapons we are seeing are not part of there help develiping them. o.o

after all. the alians brought alot ALOT of tech with them witch would of super jumped the tarren teck we allready have. forceing us to jump ahead atleast 100 years in tech evolution within a shorter amount of time.

world goverments wouldnt just let all thes random alians come to our world without some kind of peace offering to show that we can trust them. knowing mankind as it is. the moment we got our hands on one of there power cells it was weaponised emedeitly and probaly was the reason a war even broke out.

look at the show the endogines were busy makeing spys out of there own kind to place them in the human populus as sleeper cells (( season 1 ep 9 "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" ))
