because the golden gate bridge is 700 feet + and the carrier was flying far above the golden gate bridge.

Or she could have just been speaking in generalities, kind of like how the ear doctor says not to stick anything smaller than you elbow in your ear.

Very true, in the first episode they state that Defiance is built on top of St Louis which was buried. Then in the 2nd or 3rd episode, they showed the ruins of St Louis underneat Defiance. It is safe to say that defiance is at least 200 if not more feet above. With everything else, I would theorize that the arch is at least 1/2 buried

The issue is not science vs. science-fiction vs. religion vs. whatever, the issue is continuity. Continuity is something that writers should strive for so that they don't end up having to retcon stuff. If you are going to boast about the game and the show connecting, it is bad form to have on say one thing and the other something else. Disconnects in lore (albeit nit-picky sometimes) kind of diminish (not ruin) the immersion.

The only body of work that has never been rewritten, edited, and maintains a better than 98% accuracy would be the bible doofus. But science books are proven wrong and rewritten annually. Your sci-if books and movies can't even brag about that. Don't say stupid things arrogantly. It makes you look dumb.

Research the First Council of Nicaea. I'd call that editing.

This thread will soon be shut down if it keeps devolving, or being reverse created, depending on your beliefs.
