well, I don't honestly recall just how far "above" the strato was flying, Or how the terraforming may have altered the "heights" or made the "where it was measured from" much less of a point if much of that is underground/ flooded out.
the real question is how far from the waterline/sea level/ground level does the bridge really extend? and is that the universal rule? About 400'? from ground level? or sea level? before the terraforming, st. louis was already at an altitude of 465. now add about another 400' or so of terraforming... crap, you're already double that supposed 400 feet. so let's say that defiance is 850ft above sea level 400' above that is 1250feet above sea level.
now take san fran. a meagre 52 feet above sea level. sooo.. in theory, that gives the strato approximately 1200 feet of altitude, no?
