You know what would be nice is if they had a bar in server status that gave a green light when servers where up with perhaps some detail if you clicked on the categories of PC, 360, PS3

they should at least post something at the time that the servers are supposed to be up so that we know whats going on.
i just wanted to get an hour or 2 of playtime before i go to work....but for every one issue they fix, 5 more are created...i miss the good ole gaming days when they had to fix all the issues before they released...the digital age has made developers lax in what they're willing to release...$60 for a game with more problems than game play...

Furthermore, I too am having the same problem, but it could be just that they are still working on the issues/bugs that they were scheduled to work on. Not everything is a quick fix within minutes, I've worked on coding before many times and it can be time consuming and difficult. Be patient, atleast they trying to fix things unlike EA or other game companies that get to problems when they feel like it if ever. I have other games that have problems that the company never fixed or even tried to fix and that game now abandoned so they can move on to another game that will have problems of which most never get fixed. Honestly, I commend Trion for staying diligent and working hard to keep the game running while dealing with constant barrage of reports from players that impatiently expect instant fixes. If you car's engine breaks down will the mechanic fix within minutes of you bringing it in, answer is NO, they usually give you a timeframe of a week or so, then still get it done late.
your dumb that link does to the forum where it says the server is back up. Its not a live display of the server status. Take your counterproductive propaganda elsewhere

Bit of education for the non-technicals: If you can get to the Character Selection screen, the bloody servers are up.
The issue is them accepting your selection, not up or down at this point.
