...ok ill say a bit more. Ill most likely still buy both, because im not a flaming fanboy for either console. Ive just been burned by microsoft far too many times, whether be windows, the 360, or the 360slim. But, A good game is a good game no matter what system its on. Ive always owned an xbox and a ps2, an xbox 360 and a ps3, and now a ps4 & xb1. Only ddifference has been my xbox just sits there, while my ps3 gets constant use. Dont much care for the looks of either next gen, and ill still use my pc for alot. But last night sony put a giant lump in microsofts throat

How exactly did sony do such a thing? Nothing that sony brought to the table changed my mind one bit on which console I will buy. All the things people are complaining about with the new xbox are just little things that they are nit picking at and in fact in no way effect me. I don't buy used games unless they are really old and uber cheap. I'm connected to the internet 24h even though you only need to be connected to the internet for a few seconds every 24h (and honestly, if you are not connected to the internet in the year 2013 and playing video games, you are doing it wrong). the xbox has a ton of exclusives comming with it that got me excited. (project spark mostly) I have got three xbox one, day one editions on pre order already. (one for me, one for a friend and the other is for my dad)

Like I said, ill buy both. Mostly just to get microsofts exclusives. Thats the only time I use my 360. But im hoping the xb1 has worked out the kinks the 360 suffered from. Ive had 1 fatboy launch ps3 during the years ive had 5 360s shyt the bed on me( launch and slim). But I mainly buy usd, only buy new when its a special/collectors edition I actually like. And I borrow games from from friends often. Also lend em to friends, and trade in once in awhile. Sony letting us do what we want with the used games market is a big influence for me. Yes microsoft left it up to the game publishers, but they are the ones dead set against it(because they make no money). Plus sonys machine is more powerfull, thats a un debated fact in all the reviews. Of course ill still favor my pc, but the portability of bieng able to bring my console with me to hotels/wherever I may go that may or may not have internet and still be able to play games is something else I need. Im not a fan of AMD, but both have gone with them so ill bite this time. Im not quite sure about the reason xb1 went with ddr3 mem. Sonys got ddr5. But thats not even a big deal to me. Ive always been on the fence with both systems. Ive never chosen a side, because hey, they both play games and im a gamer. But like ive said microsoft burned me 1 to many times in the past, and I am basing my decision solely on the quality of the product ive recieved.

Ill buy the ps4 first, then most likely the xbox1 when I have some extra cash to spare. I see no point in buying both right off the bat. There will only be a handfull of games the first year. But know this, im not a fanboy for microsoft, or for sony.... Although I expect many to have opinions defending there own preference. There is no denying sony made the gamers good side over microsoft so far this console race. Denying that is plainly just that.....fanboy denial. You have to look at the facts here without bieng bias.

people who really look at the facts would see that though it took time, ps won out the last generation as well.. think globally, not locally.

Not all sony products are fantastic.. and not all of microsoft's are pure garbage (for hardware the Surface Pro is the only thing they got right). Smart consumers will research their product options, spec by spec, buck for buck, and better ones will do it side by side to see the operational quality and durability.
