Another TR Vet checking in. I was there from the first betas until they finally pulled the plug. The last few days were insane, with GM Kasumi and the others creating events for us almost non-stop and giving away prizes after them.

Truly a sad day when NCSoft irretrievably lodged it's head in it's posterior orifice and killed the game for no other reason than to spit in Garriott's face. That was the last game I ever bought from them. The only reason I didn't cancel my CoX account immediately was because I had several family members playing at the time, and I was an officer in the guild. I'll never buy anything else that carries their name though.

TR Vet here (same with my wife) from beta till closing second (left the dang interface up to long after that that day). I was mostly on Orion. Posted over at PTR as Vaeyn (and also gamed under that handle). Printed up some custom TR fan t-shirts towards the end for anyone who wanted at cost that I designed. Joined Squad 288 and met some great folks in that clan. I loved Friday Night Fights and the Server wars. Heck, I loved just about everything about TR except it shutting down. The community, devs., GMs, everyone was great. Suck a fun, cool, inventive game. My wife and I still rank it as our #1 most favorite game and miss it dearly. We're also both hoping Defiance will give us just as much fun times!

Same here Arkamgyl. In fact, I recognize your handle from the PTR boards. I was a mod there for a while, before the game was shut down.

Dusted off my box the other day, just to look through it. Made me sort of sad

I started TB during the first Beta phase (day 1), played it through all the way to Launch, then only a few months past launch. After TB launched, I had a gut feeling the game I had so much hope for, would live a short life. Too bad I was right. I even lost interest only a few months after launch... Still have all the Beta / preorder / CE packages and free stuff from the game. But Heck, I've tested so many games that never even made it past a short Beta wave. One of my biggest disappointments as a tester was with a game millions of Cult fans were waiting for. I was hired to begin the first testing wave (a pre-Alpha so to speak) and it barely went into a real Beta phase before the POWERS THAT BE destroyed the Epic game to be... (Hint) NBCUniversal also had claim to the franchise. As it also does with DEFIANCE. This is soo different though. (Now) My highest hopes as a tester is right here with Defiance. This one won't be aborted like the other. This game is very addicting, and we're still testing! When it launches, and after the series premieres, WOW. I can't imagine the endless possibilities! DEFIANCE FTW!

Ah memories... I fondly miss Tabula Rasa frequently... about as much as I miss Anarchy Online in fact. The past decade or so hasn't seen nearly enough deeply immersive sci-fi, post-apoc, dystopian, or modern MMORPGs.

Wasn't in the beta, but was there for launch, and it stayed in my gaming rotation until the doors closed. All of this reminiscing has got me going through my old AFS field guide, intel maps, grabbing my dog tags, and ready to do a coin check! Looking forward to this, see you all in game soon.
