Stuck in Patch Notes - No Progress

I mainly play on my 360, so I hadn't touched my PS3 in almost a month. Upon starting up the game, I get stuck in the Patch Notes screen with 0% Progression on the patch download, and 0mins/secs remaining. This is for the latest patch 1.021

I'll leave it for 20-30mins, hoping it will remedy itself, and progress... but nothing so-far. I'm still able to Pause the download at any point, so it hasn't frozen on me, but the Cancel option is not available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had my PS3 on for HOURS and HOURS and it will not finish "Verifying patched contents..." This is really bad, when you can't even turn off the damn thing and watch TV, for fear of screwing up something that was screwed up to begin with. Boo hoo. Aaargh!
