Xbox One or PS4?

I haven't decided which one I want to vet at launch yet. Both seem virtually the same as far as hardware and both look to have some cool games coming within the firs year or so. PSN is my biggest concern for PS4. All the PS3 games I ha e played lag and even the dashboard stuff like trophies seem to take forever to access. As far as Xbox One always being online and concerns about being watch through the kenect... so what if microsoft sees me doing a line ok coke off of a prostitute's bottom.

as for the network "issues" this seems to be different for everybody.. in the early years folding proteins while not at home gaming happened without a hitch, for years on end.. while at home gaming the ability to play games with 32/64 and even 128 players in an fps match, or thousands to millions of players on an mmo all without a single issue with lag... that's what I got form it.

Sony was the first to use the internet for consoles, the first to use an HDD in them, the first to offer online gaming and content dl from online, the first in all the disc based media.

the xb1 is trying really hard to do what the ps3 was already doing, while the ps4 does what xb1 can't. In terms of hardware, having that slightly more powerful hardware will give it the edge in game development, allowing it to play more games for a longer time frame of development, as well as playing more highly developed games.

the state of the xbox is soo bad, and ps4 is soo good that the stock market has rapidly shifted in favor of this.. as in.. people who aren't even into games or play them know xbox is dead and have put their money on the winning horse.

it's not even a question of which has what features, the only ones buying xb1 now are the fanatics who chose to ignore facts, the illiterate/deaf/blind, and the unknowing parents/grandparents of some 9yo.

imo.. go one way, and don't support the other.. tired of the "exclusive" issues of today as well, going with a single, powerfull system will coax these developers to pass on the exclusivity thing and we as gamers will benefit from richer libraries that don't bust the piggy bank.

more media
more freedom (region free and can play used games, does not require internet.)
more capable (has blutooth connectivity for other devices, standard av out for those without hdtv's, and better hardware)

it simply has alot more.. for $100 less.

really want a camera that bad? you can buy one and still spend less in total than xboxdone.

watching the games side by side at ea.. (watching at xbox, PLAYING at sony) the quality of games was better, but noticeable was that the graphics were staggeringly better on the ps4 titles that were cross platform (thanks to faster ram and a more gaming centric architecture).

I just had to find the trailer for mirror's edge 2, Infamous second son, Destiny, and FFXV. I wasn't looking for a reason to buy another console. Why did I have to find one. The $100 savings sells the ps4 for me. The support of selling and trading used games is almost as crucial as the price. Trading games means they still have value after purchase where as Xbox's model means I damn well better love everything I buy because I'm stuck with it; and that's sight unseen cause there's little hope of rental.

I didn't want to get into this round of console wars. I didn't want another console. Sony nearly has me sold on the ps4...

Sony has me on their side right now and i'm looking to buying a PS4 unless Microsoft pulls a game changer out of their money bag.
