Tom Clancy's The Division looks amazing, and given Ubi's consistent track record I have faith they will get this right.
I was trying to figure out if the season pass was going to be a future purchase for me, and this seals the deal. Coupled with the fact that it took 45 minutes of timing out to get in game tonight... Yeah... You have me for now Trion.

That said what Division was showing looks interesting and I'll be keeping a critical eye on it to be sure.
I agree with the skepticism, but it looked like they were showing game play footage, not just CG work. If that holds true, I'll be all over it.

Yea it was all game play footage. Im still wondering about the replay value. They did say during a live review that it isn't considered an mmo, but an rpg shooter. So there will be no hugh amounts of players on the map (from what I understand). These types of game needs to be an ever evolving world so not to get predictable and stale.
The map needs to be ginormagantuan in every since of the made up word. While showcasing the drone, they did mention that you can actually access the drone from you mobile phone and join your friends party.
Detailed environment, everything looks actual and serves a purpose/ Also during the 7min they also mentioned that your toon will be handed 3 days of supplies, so I assume that hunger and thirst will play a big part, and also you will have to scavenge for your own meals/water.

That's the thing-- they have the right philosophy, but they implemented it so poorly players can't see it. So they ask for other genres to get copy/pasted over.

Sega and Gearbox. Gearbox = Borderlands. Sega = Garbage. As I said before, Ubi is at least consistent, therefore the faith I place in them.

My guess is because of Randy Pitchford people slowly saw it go downhill due to what they said about Aliens. Not to mention a lot were upset over the season pass of BL2
While I was blown away by the The Division trailer and hope hope hope the game does indeed play close to what we've seen, it felt staged to me (not as much as that Destiny presentation, but still). Maybe not pre-rendered, but definitely altered from actual "live" game play.
