They recently changed the trophy list to require a sync before viewing which is annoying because it takes forever now. I wouldn't mind it if it was quicker but trying to pull it up while in game it can take up to several minutes as it currently works. My decision to get a PS4 is not affected by this....but just thought I would get that off my chest.
it will have it all.. though.. I frankly won't use it, as when I am trying to play a game and fully experience it I have no interest in listening to or being a part of some random other conversation not related at all to what I am trying to experience.. it's like driving while drunk/texting/talking on a phone.. you end up not paying attention to details and crash....
I can see it for sports games.. or other games where what is going on is repetitious, and incredibly boring, but I pretty much avoid those games. I will leave the communicating for teamwork purposes, and chat when not focusing on something.
I agree on the trophy thing.. while it's nice having that there no matter what console I log onto..., with soo many games played it can take a long time to load them all.

I'm curious to see what can be communicated from the PS4 to the PS3, and how that will affect cross gen games like DCUO. For example, PS4 gets cross game chat, but DCUO will be on both systems. Logically, you won't be able to talk from a PS4 system to a PS3 system (not sure about the Vita) because they'll be walled off in most cases. But with these features being locked out of the PS3, will there even be any real push for these features to be included until we've crossed that generation gap where we cut of the old, and just focus on the new.

the ps3 is a solid console, and had many more years left to it.. the only reason 4 was made was simply because ms said they were coming out with another.. that said, they will communicate between the 2 of them.. games that are on both systems will not be separated, according to the guys at the sony booth on 11 june when asked (dunno if this made it to video).
